BOLIVIA | Gas fuels latest bout of infighting. Bolivia’s President Luis Arce launched his fiercest attack yet on former president Evo Morales (2006-2019) during a speech on International Labour Day on 1 May. Arce said he faced a “hybrid war” from the “traditional right [opposition] and the new right [answering to Morales], bent on destabilisation…to fulfil the ambitions of one person”.
