FOREIGN RELATIONS: Pulp mill conflict with Uruguay flares up yet again

The almost decade-long conflict between Argentina and Uruguay on the environmental impact of a pulp mill on the River Uruguay, which forms the frontier between them, has flared up again. Argentina is once more threatening to take the dispute to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) at The Hague. Uruguay’s foreign minister says his country has had to show “infinite patience’ in dealing with its neighbour.
