Brazil campaign thrown into disarray following Campos death
Just before we went to press on 13 August, the 2014 presidential candidate for the centre-left Partido Socialista Brasileiro (PSB), Eduardo Campos, was killed in a plane crash. The campaign for the 4 October was suspended indefinitely and all bets are off as to the probable result in the now radically altered contest.
