Peña Nieto sends a care package to US ‘Dreamers’
President Enrique Peña has kept his promise to provide Mexican State scholarships to five undocumented Mexican migrants currently living in the US - and who are beneficiaries of the Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors (Dream Act) - to enable them to continue with their university studies in the US. The gesture towards the undocumented ‘Dreamers’ came after Peña Nieto’s recent two-day visit to California, where he heavily criticised US migration policy and again expressed support for a comprehensive reform of these policies.
