PERU: Brazilians displacing the Mexicans?

According to an early September report a Brazilian drug-trafficking gang, the Primeiro Grupo Catarinense (PGC) has overtaken Mexico’s Sinaloa, Juárez and Tijuana cartels as the main exporter of Peruvian cocaine, accounting for 60% of the exported output. The PGC is said to have developed two routes to ship the cocaine directly from Peru to Brazil.
