ECUADOR: Correa lists Colombia as a source of cyber-attacks

President Rafael Correa has said that Ecuador has been the target of a number of cyber-attacks, and that some of them had come from Colombia. He said that the attacks were coming from ‘organised networks’ but did not identify them. This is not the first time Correa has made claims of this sort; his most recent pronouncements on the subject came only weeks after he had ordered the military to set up a programme to defend the country from cyber-warfare.
