Brazil: New-look economic team starts to take shape

Development: Although no formal announcement is likely until later this week, sources at Brazil’s presidential palace briefed local press over the weekend of 23-24 November that Joaquim Levy, the former national treasury secretary under the government led by Lula da Silva (2003-2011), will be Brazil’s next finance minister.
