President Otto Pérez Molina last week presented his penultimate annual report. He claimed progress in the three areas his right-wing Partido Patriota (PP) government had identified as priorities upon taking office for a four-year term in January 2012: crime, food insecurity and boosting economic growth & competitiveness.
