POLITICS & SECURITY: Historic moves towards a ceasefire

The Colombian government led by President Juan Manuel Santos is considering a bilateral ceasefire with the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc). Such a move would be a landmark moment in the peace talks with the Farc, effectively marking an end to the armed conflict. But there are concerns, including that the Farc might use a ceasefire to regroup, as it did in the past.
