GUATEMALA: Human rights ombudsman warns of health crisis

The parlous state of Guatemala’s health sector has once again made national deadlines. Last month the human rights ombudsman (PDH) Jorge de León Duque presented his annual report on human rights in Guatemala which revealed the situation in the health sector to be the “worst in the country’s history.”
