Moving on the Alianza para la Prosperidad
The leaders of the three countries that comprise Central America’s ‘Northern Triangle’ – Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras – this month unveiled further details of the Plan Alianza para la Prosperidad (PAP) scheme. Developed in conjunction with the US government and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the PAP aims to promote the area’s economic development and stem the mass migration of individuals from these impoverished countries to the US.
