Will the abstention party do well?

As the countdown to Mexico’s mid-term elections due on 7 June continues, it is still hard to predict the outcome of the contest. A number of opinion polls suggest that THE ruling Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) remains ahead in the race, but that against a background of low levels of trust in the political class, there may be a high abstention rate.
