Mexican dismay over Texan HB11
The Mexican government has formally lamented the promulgation into law of a new multi-million dollar border security bill by the Texas state government. A statement by Mexico’s foreign ministry (SRE) said the implementation of the Texas legislature House Bill 11, or HB11, would foment divisions between Mexico and the US and went against the principles and values that should govern bilateral relations.
