Development: On 2 July Mexico’s state-owned oil company, Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), claimed that staff are working around the clock to ensure that petrol stations are adequately supplied after admitting that the theft of fuel from its pipelines had led to supply problems in eight states in the north and west of the country.
