POLITICS: Rousseff not planning to leave any time soon
Three times in her interview with O Folha de São Paulo on 6 July, President Dilma Rousseff repeated the phrase: “I am not going to fall”. The fact that the president felt it necessary to be so emphatic, just a day after the newly re-elected president of the centrist opposition Partido da Social Democracia Brasileira (PSDB), Aécio Neves, had suggested her term may be cut short, disappointed some of her supporters who believe merely airing the suggestions lends it undeserved credibility.
