POLITICS & DIPLOMACY: An unprecedented binational cabinet meeting

President Evo Morales and his Peruvian peer, Ollanta Humala, in June headed up the first ever Peru-Bolivia bilateral cabinet meeting. The meeting, which took place in the Peruvian border city of Puno, is the latest sign of closer ties between the two governments, which have extended from security to also include significant cooperation on energy.
