El Salvador and Honduras lead the way in inequality reduction

A new study by the sub-regional think tank, Instituto Centroamericano de Estudios Fiscales (Icefi), the findings of which were released in a series of reports, show that El Salvador and Honduras are the Central American countries that have reduced inequality most in rural areas thanks to their fiscal policies. However, Icefi is clear that more needs to be done to reduce poverty across the sub-region.
