ARGENTINA-CHILE | Historic fishing fine. On 12 April Argentina’s agriculture, fisheries and agro-industry ministry issued a statement denouncing the fishing by Chilean firm Empresa de Desarollo Pesquero de Chile S.A (Emdepes) in waters near the Falkland Islands (Malvinas), which Argentina claims as its territory, without permission.
