Costa Rica calls on US to change Cuba migration policy

Development: On 4 May Costa Rica’s foreign minister, Manuel González, called on the US government to change its ‘wet-foot, dry-foot’ policy of granting residency to Cuban immigrants that make it to US territory (according to which Cuban nationals who set foot on US soil can stay, while those captured at sea are sent back to Cuba).
