Region: Capital markets better in first quarter
In January it looked as if investors and lenders couldn’t get out of Latin America fast enough, but by March many were piling back, in search of yields. A new report on first quarter capital flows published by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) said that the first quarter was “a tale of two halves”.
