Macri resorts to veto for first time in Argentina

Development: On 20 May Argentina’s President Mauricio Macri vetoed the ‘anti-dismissal’ bill recently approved by the federal congress, which would have precluded any layoffs for the next 180 days unless employers were prepared to stump up double severance pay.
