Mexico and Canada relaunch relations in support of Nafta

Development: On 28 June Mexico’s President Enrique Peña Nieto and Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the signing of a number of new bilateral deals including the suppression of visa requirements for Mexican nationals seeking to enter Canada, as the two North American Free Trade Agreement (Nafta) member countries relaunched bilateral relations.
