Peso whiplashed again – this time by Brexit

As in February, Mexico’s monetary and fiscal authorities have acted in close synchronisation to shore up the country’s economic defences in response to the United Kingdom (UK)’s vote to leave the European Union (‘Brexit’). But pressure on the monetary side in particular is mounting.
