MEXICO: Document reveals relative strength of DTOs
Mexican drug trafficking organisations (DTOs) are currently present in as much as 60% of the country’s states. The Sinaloa/Pacífico DTO and Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) are the two most dominant organisations in Mexico, while Los Zetas and Los Caballeros Templarios (LCT) are on the wane. This is the latest assessment of the federal attorney general’s office (PGR).
