COLOMBIA | Record inflation. The inflation rate in June reached 8.6%, the highest rate for the month over the last 16 years, according to Colombia’s statistics agency (Dane). This result brought accumulated inflation for the first six months of the year to 5.1%, significantly higher than the 3.3% registered in the first six months of 2015.
