Andean countries boost quinoa cooperation
Last month representatives from the agriculture ministries of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela (along with Argentina and Chile) agreed to promote the work of the International Quinoa Centre (CIQ) in Bolivia which was officially launched in March 2014 and is aimed at promoting scientific research into the production and industrialisation of the grain.
