HONDURAS: The 2017 election – a race like no other
The Honduran supreme electoral court (TSE) has said that it will abide by the April 2015 ruling of the supreme court’s constitutional chamber to repeal the constitutional ban on re-election. With party primaries set for 12 March, followed by the general election in November, 2017 promises to be another fractious period in Honduran politics.
