REGION: Caribbean leaders highlight banking woes to UN

At the United Nations General Assembly in late September, leader after leader from the Caribbean emphasised the difficulties being caused by the withdrawal of correspondent banking services. To this, Jamaica added the particular problems being faced by highly indebted, middle-income countries (HIMIC).
