Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa hosted his Peruvian peer Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on 7 October during their first binational cabinet meeting, and tenth overall, in Macas, the capital of Ecuador’s south-eastern Amazonian province of Morona Santiago. The heads of state announced their political commitment to building a joint future in order to improve the wellbeing and development of their peoples, especially those living in the shared border area.
