Last month the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB), the independent and quasi-judicial monitoring body for the implementation of the United Nations (UN) international drug control conventions, undertook a treaty compliance monitoring visit to Bolivia. The purpose was to discuss with the Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS) government led by President Evo Morales its compliance with the three international drug control treaties.
