Strengthening relations with Peru

Earlier this month, President Evo Morales hosted his Peruvian counterpart Pedro Pablo Kuczynski in Sucre, the capital of Bolivia’s Cochabamba department, for the second ever binational cabinet meeting. The first took place in Peru in June 2015 between President Morales and Kuczynski’s predecessor Ollanta Humala (2011-2016) [RA-15-07]. The latest meeting produced 13 agreements in various areas including infrastructure, environment, and security.
