The new US secretary of homeland security (DHS), John Kelly, has reached out to Mexico, which he described as “a huge partner” of the US, to combat drug-trafficking, although he was insistent that a border wall would be constructed and he anticipated that within two years from now significant progress would have been made towards its completion.
