VENEZUELA: Maduro makes gestures on human rights
On 23 April Karim Khan, the top prosecutor at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, opened an ICC office in Caracas and met with Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro, who suggested that expelled staff from the United Nations (UN) Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) would be allowed to return to the country.
