With less than three hundred days until the start of the 2007 Cricket World Cup (CWC), preparations are fully underway for what will be the largest and most important sporting event to be held in the Caribbean. The event, which is being hosted by nine countries across the region has received massive investment in infrastructure and facilities but there is controversy about whether such small economies can afford such a lavish event.
