HAITI: Aristide followers in deadly clashes with police

At least a dozen people were killed and an unknown number were injured in three consecutive days of clashes between the police and followers of ousted President Jean-Bertrand Aristide in and around Port-au-Prince. The UN troops did not intervene in the confrontations.
