BOLIVIA: Morales takes on judiciary

Relations between the executive and the judiciary are taking a turn for the worse. President Evo Morales this week reiterated calls for the president of the supreme justice court (CSJ), Eddy Fernández, to resign. The government accuses Fernández of thwarting efforts to bring key officials associated with past administrations to trial.
