Paraguay’s PLRA regroups ahead of 2018

On 19 July Efraín Alegre was scheduled to take up his post as the new president of Paraguay’s main opposition Partido Liberal Radical Auténtico (PLRA) for the five-year period 2016-2021. Alegre, who takes over as party leader from Senator Miguel Abdón Saguier, will be accompanied by 55 new party directorate members also to be sworn-in.
