This was the response by Beatriz Sánchez, the defeated presidential candidate of the radical left-wing Frente Amplio (FA), to the new cabinet unveiled by president-elect Sebastián Piñera. Sánchez’s surprisingly strong performance in the first round of the elections had forced Piñera and his Chile Vamos coalition to adopt a more centrist platform ahead of the December run-off against the ruling Nueva Mayoría candidate Alejandro Guillier.
