US issues warning to Mexico over Russian foul play
With the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) having recently published its long-awaited report on Russian involvement in the 2016 US election, rumours have continued to swirl around the guarded allegations levelled against Russia in relation to interference in the electoral affairs of other Western Hemisphere democracies. The widespread practice of vote-tampering appears to have arrived on Latin America’s doorstep at last.
