Oil workers are not the only ‘deserters’ from the Bolivarian Revolution. Local media reports are picking up on growing dissidence within the security forces, including the military. While there is no sign that these incidents are anything more than isolated acts for now, it is clear that Venezuelan security forces are not immune to the crisis afflicting the country.
