LatinNews Regional Monitor: Brazil & Southern Cone - 4 April 2018

In brief: Argentina

Argentina: Argentina’s federal tax authority (Afip) has reported that it has collected Ar$238.8bn (US$11.9bn) in taxes in March, a 36.9% increase compared with the same month in 2017. The figures do not factor in the revenue from taxes on foreign assets, under a law which expired last March. If this information was included, the increase in interannual tax revenue would be lowered to 12.5%.
