All-out reform or gradual change? Responding to changes in the health panorama

The issue of health is never far below the surface in Mexico. With the highest childhood obesity rate in the world and a burgeoning population stretching the country’s healthcare and social security systems to the limit, a January report published by Rodolfo de la Torre of the independent NGO Centro de Estudios Espinosa Yglesias (CEEY) called for urgent and drastic change to the national healthcare system.
