With the highest childhood obesity rate in the world and a burgeoning population stretching the country’s healthcare and social security systems to the limit, a January report published by Rodolfo de la Torre of the independent NGO Centro de Estudios Espinosa Yglesias (CEEY) called for urgent and drastic change to the national healthcare system.
