Special Report: The coming transport revolution in Latin America and the Caribbean (ISSN 17414474)

Conclusion

To conclude this report, three main points need to born in mind. The first is that the transport revolution is going to have an inescapable impact on Latin America and the Caribbean. While aspects of the looming disruption to existing transport systems may be over-sold, exaggerated, or presented as more benign than will actually turn out to be the case, there is enough evidence to insist that a real shake-up is on the way. The region will have to adapt.
