Mexico: Yarrington extradited from Italy
As a group, Mexican state governors are frequently criticised for corrupt practices and impunity. One more of them – former Tamaulipas governor (1999-2005) Tomás Yarrington – was extradited from Italy to the US on 20 April to face drug-trafficking charges.
