* Engineering firm Odebrecht has signed a R$2.1bn (US$595m) contract with Petrocity Portos to build a port in Brazil' southern state of Espírito Santo. This is the biggest contract Odebrecht has secured since the start in 2014 of the ‘Operation Car Wash’ corrution investigaitons implicating the firm. The news comes after Odebrecht missed a R$500m (US$141m) debt payment with foreign investors last week and is still negotiating with local banks for a loan to meet its obligations.
