Can technology help bring about an end to gender violence?

There has been a deeply troubling increase in the last three years of cases of violence against women in Mexico. According to figures from the Sistema Nacional de Seguridad Pública (SNSP), 671 women were killed in gender-based attacks in 2017. The data scientist Juan Vallarta has recently provided some ideas on how the problem could be combatted.
