*Brazil’s President Michel Temer opened up a new credit line worth R$194.3bn (US$50.8bn) for the agriculture sector for 2018-2019. “These are resources that will stimulate production and drive Brazilian growth”, said the president. The agricultural sector is a pillar of Brazil's domestic economy, but took a hit during the recent fuel strike resulting in billions of US dollars in losses.
