Dominican Republic: The Dominican Republic (DR)’s central bank (BCRD) has released figures which show that tourist arrivals to the country were up 7% year-on-year in May and 5.9% in the first five months of 2018 compared with the same period the previous year. The US is the biggest source of tourists, accounting for 46% of the total in May.
