Chile: Chile’s finance minister, Felipe Larraín, has announced that the government led by President Sebastián Piñera will request technical assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) with regard to cyber security. This follows a cyberattack which took place on Banco de Chile, the country’s largest commercial bank, on 24 May in which hackers stole US$10m.
