Brazil: Brazil’s national statistics agency (IBGE) has released new figures which show that the country’s inflation rate reached 1.26% in June 2018 compared with the previous month – the highest month-on-month rate recorded since January 2016. Monthly inflation in May 2018 was 0.4%. The figure for June 2018 brings the 12-month rate to 4.39%.
